What is stored on your device
The site uses your browser's local storage - not cookies - to remember a small amount of information. All of it stays on your device and none of it is transmitted anywhere.
Specifically: per-game personal best scores and the metrics each game measures; your list of favourite games; a list of up to 24 recently played games with timestamps; a count of how many times you have started each game in this browser; and whether you have sound switched on.
That is the complete list. Nothing is stored that could identify you, and nothing records which pages you read as opposed to which games you played.
What is not collected
There is no account system, so we hold no name, email address or password. There is no server-side storage, so nothing you do here is recorded anywhere we can read.
The site does not currently use any analytics provider, so no page views, sessions or behavioural data are collected. If that ever changes, this page will be updated before the change is made and will name the provider.
No third-party scripts are loaded. Everything the site runs is served from this domain, which means no other party receives a request when you visit.
Cookies
Sword Arcade sets no cookies of its own. The information it stores uses local storage, which is technically distinct from cookies: it is never attached to network requests and is therefore never sent to any server, including ours.

Advertising
The site reserves space for advertising, clearly labelled as such, but no advertising network is currently connected and no ad code is present on any page. The reserved slots contain no third-party script and make no external request.
If an advertising network is connected in future, that network would be able to set its own cookies and collect its own data under its own policy. This page and the cookie policy would both be updated to name the provider and link to its policy before any such code went live.
Children
The site is suitable for a general audience and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Since there is no account system and no data collection of any kind, there is no information about a child for us to hold, disclose or delete.
Your rights and how to exercise them
Because no personal data is collected or held, there is nothing for us to provide, correct or erase on request. The only data that exists is on your own device and entirely under your control.
You can remove all of it using the button below, or by clearing site data for this domain in your browser's settings. Private browsing windows typically discard it automatically when closed.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially - in particular if any analytics or advertising provider is introduced - the change will be reflected here with an updated date, and the provider will be named.
