Who writes what is here
All content on this site - games, guides, page copy - is produced in-house under the editorial identity of Alex Morgan, Senior Arcade Games Editor. That identity represents the site's editorial team and its standards, which is stated plainly on the author page rather than dressed up with invented credentials.
There are no guest posts, no sponsored articles and no syndicated content. Nothing on this site was written by anyone other than the site's own editorial team.
How guides are produced
Every game covered by a guide has been played to completion or to a genuine plateau before anything is written about it. That is why the guides can say which opponent is beaten by pressure and which by patience, rather than describing mechanics generically.
Technical figures - parry windows, recovery durations, difficulty endpoints, scoring multipliers - are read from the source code rather than estimated. Where a figure is approximate, the writing says so.
Where a guide makes a claim a reader might reasonably dispute, it gives the reasoning rather than only the conclusion, so the reasoning can be examined.
What we will not publish
Invented statistics, including player counts, download figures, ratings or session numbers. This site has no analytics and no accounts, so it does not have those figures and will not present estimates as measurements.
Fabricated quotes, invented experts, imaginary studies or references to research that has not been read.
Fake reviews, fake testimonials, invented awards or claims of industry recognition.
Rankings presented as data when they are editorial opinion. Where we say a game is good, we say why and we label it as a pick.
Content produced to occupy a keyword rather than to answer a question. A page that has nothing to say is not published.
Updating and dating
Every guide and game page carries a published date and a last-updated date. The updated date changes only when the content actually changes.
We do not refresh dates to appear current. A guide that has not needed changing keeps its original updated date, and a build-time check prevents any page from carrying a date in the future.
Advertising and editorial independence
No advertising network is currently connected to this site. If one is introduced, advertising will be clearly labelled, will not be placed where it could be mistaken for a game control, and will not influence editorial content.
We do not accept payment for coverage, placement, links or favourable descriptions. Since every game on this site is our own, there is nothing here to be paid to promote.
Corrections
Errors are corrected promptly and the page's updated date is changed to reflect it. Corrections that change the substance of a guide are noted in the guide rather than made silently.
The contact page has a 'Guide correction' subject specifically for reporting these. Reports are welcome and are read even when we do not reply.
